Goldexplorer in der Pilbara Region mit 1,7 Mio. Unzen Ressource

DEG hat bereits 1,7 Mio. Unzen Gold auf seinen Projekten in der Pilbara Region in WA nachgewiesen. Die im 2. HJ 2019 laufenden Bohr aktivitäten könnten diese auf zunächst 2 Mio. erhöhen. Das Gesamtpotential sehen die Geologen bei 3 Mio. Unzen Gold oder mehr. Auf dem Toweranna Projekt konnte jüngst die Goldvererzung verdreifacht werden.
Lukrative Gold Region
DEG kontrolliert über 1.500 km² in der aufstrebenden Goldprovinz. Pilbara gilt heute wegen seiner Vorkommen und exzellenten Infrastruktur, als einer der besten Goldregionen in Australien. Mit DEG‘s 100%iger Übernahme des Teilprojektes Indee Gold ist man auf dem besten Weg, ein ernst zu nehmender Player zu werden. DEG‘s Expansion liegt voll im Plan.
Vormachbarkeitsstudie
Erstklassige Ausbringungsraten von weit über 90% lassen DEG zu einem neuen Goldproduzenten in Westaustralien heranwachsen. Das Herauslösen von Gold in Sulfiderz ist sogar möglich und erhöht die Wirtschaftlichkeit. In 2020 soll die Vormachbarkeitsstudie auf die neue Ressource aktualisiert und der geplante Tagebau optimiert werden.
JV-Partner & Aktionäre
Im Juli 2019 konnte DEG die Zusammenarbeit mit Nachbar Novo Resources vermelden. Die kanadische Kirkland Lake ist Großaktionärin bei Novo und hält auch Anteile an DEG. Die australische DGO Gold unterstützte DEG bei ihrer jüngsten Kapitalaufnahme und erhöhte ihren Anteil auf 11% am aussichtsreichen Wachstumsunternehmen De Grey Mining.
Simon Lill
Executive Chairman
Mr. Lill has a BSc and a Masters of Business Administration, both from The University of Western Australia and has been a corporate adviser with Trident Capital Pty Ltd for the last 5 years. He has over 25 years’ experience in stockbroking, capital raising, management, business development and analysis for a range of small and start-up companies, both in the manufacturing and resources industries, and has specialised in that time in company restructuring activities.
Peter Hood
Non-executive Director
Mr. Hood, a Chemical Engineer, has had a distinguished career in the Australian Mining and Chemical Industries. He held the position of Senior Production Engineer at the Kwinana Nickel Refinery from 1971 to 1981, then Mill Superintendent of the WMC Kambalda Nickel and Gold Operations between 1982 to 1985. In 1985, he joined Coogee Chemicals Pty Ltd in the position of General Manager and then as their CEO between 1998 and 2005. He then held the position of CEO of Coogee Resources Ltd before retiring in 2008. Through that period he was part of the management team that oversaw significant growth in Coogee Chemicals company capitalisation. Currently he holds positions on the board of two other ASX listed companies; GR Engineering and Matrix Composites and Engineering Ltd.
Mr. Eshuys
Non-Executive Director
He is a veteran Australian gold geologist with several decades of exploration and discovery, development and production experience. His success as exploration director of several listed companies include leadership of the teams that discovered the Plutonic Bronzewing and Jundee gold deposits in Western Australia. He also led the discovery of the Cawse Nickel Deposit and was involved in the Maggie Hays and Mariners nickel discoveries earlier in his career. More recently Mr Eshuys was Managing Director and CEO of St Barbara Limited from 2004 to 2009 and led the re-establishment of Sons of Gwalia as a major underground gold producer. Mr Eshuys is Executive Chairman of DGO Gold Limited, an ASX listed gold explorer and investor that is building a portfolio of gold discovery opportunities through strategic equity investment, tenement acquisition and joint venture.
Mr Parncutt

He is a seasoned investment markets professional and company director. After an initial stint as a mine geologist in Western Australia, Bruce’s career has spanned roles in resource investment analysis, stockbroking, investment management and investment banking. He was Managing Director and CEO of McIntosh Securities from 1990 to 1996 until its acquisition by Merrill Lynch where he served as Senior Vice President for several years before forming Lion Capital where he is now Chairman. He has significant experience in public company and not-for-profit boards including as a Director of Australian Stock Exchange, and as a Trustee and President of the Council of Trustees of the National Gallery of Victoria. He has also been a director of a number of private and smaller listed public companies including Stuart Petroleum. Mr Parncutt is also a Director of DGO Gold Limited which has provided significant support to De Grey Mining Limited since its initial investment in De Grey in July 2018.
Andy Beckwith
Executive Technical Director
Mr. Beckwith has a Bachelor of Science (Applied Geology) from the University of South Australia, and has over 30 years of Geological and Management experience. His more recent roles include successfully building Westgold to circa 5M ounces of resources as Managing Director and prior to that, senior roles with Anglo Gold Australia.
Andy has successfully worked on projects from grassroots to mine development and has extensive experience working with corporate transactions, project acquisitions and project generation.
Andy Beckwith joined De Grey Mining originally as a consultant, before coming on as Technical Director and Operations Manager in November 2017 and has played a significant role in the rebirth of the company.
Craig Nelmes

Craig Nelmes is an Accountant with over 20 years experience in the mining sector in Australia and overseas. For the last 6 years he has worked with Corporate Consultants Pty Ltd, a company providing accounting, secretarial and administrative services to ASX and TSX listed entities.
Patrick Holywell
Joint Company Secretary
Mr Holywell is a Chartered Accountant with fifteen years of experience in corporate governance, finance and accounting including employment with Deloitte, Touche Tohmatsu Ltd and Patersons Securities Ltd. He has extensive experience in the mining and resource industry and has significant experience in the development and ongoing operation of managed investment schemes, including regulatory and compliance. He has also been employed by, and acted as, company secretary, CFO and/or director of several companies in the resources sector.
Phil Tornatora
Exploration Manager
Mr. Tornatora joins De Grey Mining with over 25 years of geological experience. He has had substantial Exploration Management experience; with over 4 years as General Manager of Exploration at Northern Star. During this time Northern Star advanced from a single mine operation to a multi-mine company producing around 500Koz gold per annum. Prior to this, Phil worked as Exploration and Geology Manager for Galaxy Resources, a prominent Australian lithium/tantalum producer. He has held senior Geology roles with major International gold producer AngloGold Ashanti and has had a range of experience from regional to near mine exploration and resource development roles. Philip has a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Master of Economic Geology, and is a member of the AUSIMM and AIG. He has worked on numerous projects, both in Australia, Africa and SE Asia, with his extensive experience being a welcomed addition to the team at De Grey.
